2.9 EARTHQUAKE between Barcelona PG, Milazzo and FALCONE

Messina, 16/03/2011 - An earthquake of magnitude 2.9 was registered at 6:10:51 in Italian This morning, March 16, the National Seismic Network located in the district of INGV seismic Gulf of Patti and Milazzo, at a depth of 7.8 km, centered between the towns of Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (Me), Castroreale (Me) Falcon (Me), Furnari (Me). The quake was mild, did not damage but was felt as close to the epicenter, where the apprehension may be increased as a result of world events taking place, related to seismic activity in Japan.
